Sesa obtains the Gender Equality certification pursuant to UNI/PdR 125:2022, issued by SA Certification.
The management system includes an evaluation of the effectiveness of the actions undertaken by the organization in order to create a work environment that is inclusive of diversity and that supports gender equality. A goal achieved thanks to the strong Group commitment to corporate culture in a more sustainable and inclusive perspective.
The actions are measured with respect to a set of KPIs – of a qualitative and quantitative nature – which refer to several variables that can distinguish an inclusive organization such as:
- culture and strategy
- governance
- HR processes
- fair opportunities for growth and inclusion in the company
- equal pay by gender
- protection of parenthood and work-life balance
Gender Equality is also one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN (Goal 5) and is part of the cross-cutting objectives of the NRRP.
Angela Pennacchi, Sesa Group Diversity Manager, comments:”This certification represents an important step in the journey towards systemic equity and a commitment to make solid and concrete DE&I principles, with the aim of building stronger relationships both internally and with our stakeholders, enriching our culture, offering quality services and consolidating long-term sustainable success.”
