Corporate welfare
Our commitment to promoting the well-being of people and a sustainable work-life balance
We believe that corporate welfare is a powerful tool for improving the well-being and motivation of workers. We promote a continuous commitment to caring for our people, focusing on their daily needs in order to facilitate a balance and integration between work and life.
The Sesa Group Welfare Plan, in place for around 10 years, represents our growing commitment to identifying and developing concrete initiatives aimed at promoting and improving the individual and family well-being of our workers. The Plan promotes people's well-being and is based on the uniqueness of each individual, considered as an endless source of wealth.
Well-being is promoted through an approach that is focused on the needs of the different generations of the Group, with specific initiatives dedicated to employees under 30, who constitute an increasingly significant part of the Group, and focuses on people's well-being, work-life balance, inclusion, sustainability and education.
Our Welfare Plan focuses on three main areas:
Provisions:
Measures and contributions dedicated to supporting family, educational and social life, with the aim of improving the quality of daily life for our employees.
Among the main initiatives:
- Company nursery, babysitter or childcare specialist – practical support for parenting and childcare;
- Assistance for children or parents of limited self-sufficiency or with disabilities – support for families in vulnerable conditions;
- Independent living and sustainable mobility – incentives to promote independence and environmentally responsible choices;
- Scholarships, summer camps and study vacations – promoting young people education and growth;
- Digital vouchers – initiative dedicated to spreading digital culture within the Group;
- Birth grant and health backpacks – support for the birth of new children and for everyday well-being.
Flexible Benefit:
We offer each employee the opportunity to personalize their welfare package by choosing from several goods and services (flexible benefits to supplement spending on sports, culture and well-being).
This flexible approach allows us to meet individual needs, enhancing purchasing power and promoting truly tailored well-being.
Work-life Balance:
In line with our corporate culture, we promote a work-life balance through initiatives dedicated to health, prevention and mental and physical well-being.
Among the main initiatives:
- Corporate micro-credit - to meet any extraordinary financial needs;
- Nutrition and psychological counselling services - for physical and mental health care;
- Trainect, medical checks and sports welfare - to encourage an active and healthy lifestyle.
The benefits and initiatives of the Welfare Plan are available through a dedicated digital platform with an AI-powered virtual assistant, which simplifies access to all the services and opportunities offered.
Important support for the Group's welfare programmes is provided by the Sesa Foundation, a non-profit organisation set up by Sesa's founding members in 2014 with the aim of creating a structure dedicated to social solidarity and philanthropy in the areas where the Sesa Group companies operate.
