Sustainability Plan
Environment, people and communities at the heart of our sustainable development
The Sustainability Plan reflects our Group's strategic ESG vision, as well as the tool to communicating the targets and actions to be taken to achieve them.
The Sustainability Plan allows us to enhance our contribution to achieving the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and is broken down into clear and specific targets, in order to make the Group's commitment transparent and accountable. These targets are updated annually in line with strategic guidelines, results achieved and best practices, in order to increasingly integrate sustainability throughout the entire value chain.
The Plan was drafted by the Sustainability Operational Committee, evaluated and reviewed by the Sustainability Committee, and finally approved by the Sesa Board of Directors on July 17, 2025.

Our strategic approach is based on three key principles:
- Integrating ESG into business strategy: sustainability targets have been progressively integrated into industrial planning and the management system, with measurable indicators and KPIs. Investment, development and governance decisions are also assessed on the basis of their environmental and social impact;
- Sustainable innovation and digital transformation: by offering solutions, services and platforms that promote environmental protection and efficient use of resources, and by promoting artificial intelligence, we support businesses in their green digital transition. At the same time, we invest in technological projects with a positive ESG impact;
- Shared value for people and territories: the Group's growth has always been accompanied by a concrete commitment to local communities, training, employee well-being and the promotion of diversity.

Our vision of sustainability is not limited to a series of isolated actions, but translates into a corporate culture that promotes responsible innovation, environmental protection and people's well-being.
Human capital is at the heart of our strategy, through inclusive policies, targeted training programmes and welfare initiatives that value diversity and promote skills development.
On the environmental issue, we have started a concrete path of decarbonisation and energy efficiency, focusing on significantly reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and optimisation of natural resources use. These efforts are in line with global climate change targets and are translating into tangible results, such as increased use of energy from renewable sources and sustainable waste management.
In the area of governance, the adoption of strict codes of ethics, the implementation of anti-corruption control systems and the promotion of a culture of transparency and accountability form the basis of our long-term credibility and sustainability. The close integration of ESG targets into incentive systems also ensures that sustainability performance is an integral part of assessments and decision-making processes at all levels of the company.
