Digital Green VAS Sector:

The Digital Green VAS Sector, established in 2021 with the acquisition of PM Service S.r.l. and further strengthened in 2024 through the acquisition of Greensun S.r.l., is focused on offering solutions, technologies, and services that support environmental sustainability and the green and digital transition. The business combination between PM Service and Greensun, the main distributors of renewable energy products in Italy, created a key national player in the sector with growth opportunities across Europe, combining the decades-long experience and technological expertise of both companies and offering innovative solutions in renewable energy and energy efficiency.

In the Sector there is also Service Technology S.r.l., which offers solutions for the management and refurbishment of IT products and technology assets. In the fiscal year ending April 30, 2025, the company refurbished over 35,000 personal computers, amounting to about 60 tons of hardware, saving approximately 3 tons of CO2, equivalent to roughly 100 tall trees.

Overall, the Sector has a significant indirect impact on reducing GHG emission through the products and services it sells.

SustainIT:

In recent years, Var Group has progressively strengthened its offering of digitalisation and monitoring services for natural resource consumption, promoting the optimization of production processes with a focus on environmental sustainability.

In 2024, we launched the SustainIT brand, a competence centre aimed at supporting enterprises in adapting their structures, processes and platforms to regulatory developments in the ESG area. Today, sustainable transformation is driven by companies' ability to manage data smartly and improve energy efficiency. In this scenario, SustainIT offers essential support in the digitisation and simplification of ESG data management, while promoting regulatory compliance and a more efficient and transparent use of corporate resources.
